The basic rules for using Trainfolio, including accounts, journey records, rail data, subscriptions, acceptable use, and limitations.
By using Trainfolio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or Trainfolio Cloud. These terms may be updated as the app develops, especially before subscriptions or public launch.
Trainfolio helps you log rail journeys, build a personal rail passport, view live or historic railway information, record rolling stock, create collector-style cards, use friend features, and sync records through Trainfolio Cloud where available.
Trainfolio is independent and is not an official train operator, ticket retailer, safety service, or journey authority. Railway data can be wrong, late, missing, or changed. Always check official sources, station information, staff instructions, and safety notices before making travel decisions.
You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple, Google, device, and Trainfolio account secure. You must not impersonate others, create misleading profiles, abuse invite links, scrape private data, interfere with the service, or upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
You keep ownership of journey notes, manual entries, profile details, and other content you add. You give Trainfolio permission to store, process, display, back up, sync, and transform that content so the app can provide its features. If you share a card, invite, profile, stat, or journey publicly, other people may view or save it.
Some features may become paid, including extended history, cloud sync, advanced cards, exports, alerts, imports, social features, or premium rail data tools. Prices, trials, renewals, refunds, and cancellation are handled by the relevant app store or payment provider unless Trainfolio says otherwise.
Trainfolio may change, pause, remove, or limit features. Cloud services can be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, railway data issues, third-party systems, or security problems. Trainfolio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Trainfolio is not responsible for missed trains, disruption, ticketing issues, lost profits, lost data, incorrect rail information, third-party failures, or indirect losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You may stop using Trainfolio at any time. You may request account deletion. Trainfolio may suspend or remove accounts or content that appear to break these terms, create security risk, infringe rights, or harm the service or other users.
